The interview portion of ReUnion Roadmap goes back to the York County South Carolina area (part of the Charlotte metro area). This is the third and final part, we continue to interview Kim Trainer and Betsy Ruch of Fostering the Family, a ministry dedicated to helping foster families (both the parents and the children who are in foster care). In this segment, they share concerning some of the statistics concerning children in foster care as it relates to our current prison population. The statistics are quite astounding. Our musical selections include Miriam Houtz singing the song “Hide Me Lord” from the album “Shadows” available at drybonesrestorationcompany.com. In addition, Barry Phillips and the Alef Tav Band bring to us an original song entitled “Song of the Prophets”. You can hear Barry live at his congregation House of David in Gloucester, Virginia. In the midrash portion, BYNA Elders David Jones and Barry Phillips discuss a question: Who did God give the Torah to? If you’ve been in this walk for awhile, you have probably asked this question already, however, there is a current conversation at work that you may not be aware of. A relevant discussion as it reveals what we will be encountering in this current society. We would love to hear from you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
