Word of Encouragement
40 Days of Personal Change, Day 21

It is very encouraging to know that there that many are devoted to specific times of prayer, especially now that our world of communication has been bombarded with so much information which can produce fear, stress, doubt and unbelief.  At the same time, the Scriptures are our best guide and format, knowing that YHVH in charge of absolutely everything. Being aware of His sovereignty and His love for us is so important.

He told Israel:  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

Paul also encourages us with these words:  “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim;  and the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Messiah Yeshua…” (Philippians 4:6-8).

“Grace and peace will be multiplied to you in the knowledge of Elohim and of Yeshua our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which we have been given, exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these we may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:2-4).

“So may our hearts be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of Elohim, both of the Father and of Messiah, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2-3)
