Hurry Up and Wait!

Hurry Up and Wait

Ken Rank, United2Restore.com

If you have been in the military you’ve probably heard the phrase, “Hurry up and wait.” Generally, this is the source of much frustration with much rushing around to get everything done quickly so that you can sit around for hours bored to tears. Having served in the U.S. Army (1984-1986) I endured the hurrying up and waiting, yet toward the end of my enlistment, I began to understand not only the necessity, but also the brilliance of it.

Prayer Psalms, Psalm 29

by Ephrimona of http://amephraimchai.blogspot.co.il/

Baruch Ata,
YHVH – Elohey Yisrael, Avinu
(Bless You, YHVH – Elohim of Israel, our Father).

O YHVH – El Elyon (Most High), I give unto You glory, honor and strength. I give unto You the glory due to Your name. I desire to worship You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign), in spirit, in truth and in the splendor of Kodesh (Holiness).

Your voice, YHVH – El Kavod (God of Glory), thunders over the waters; just as You stand over many waters. Your voice, Elohey Yisrael is powerful and full of majesty as it breaks the cedars, yes, even the great cedars of Levanon. You even make Levanon and Sirion skip like a calf, like a young wild ox.

Your voice, El Shadai (Almighty), divides the flames of fire and shakes the wilderness, the Wilderness of Kadesh. You strip the forest bare, but yet Your voice, Your spoken word makes the deer to give birth. How much more will You give strength to Your people and bless them with peace!

O El Elyon (Most High), You sit forever as King. You, Malki (my King), were enthroned; even during the days of the Flood. Let everyone who dwells in Your temple shout, “kavod”.

Hallelu-Yah!!! For You YHVH are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi the Almighty reigns!

Both Houses of Israel

By: Ephraim and Rimona Frank

According to Scripture, the “Two Houses of Israel” are two separate and distinct entities. Each of them has its own specific prophetic destiny. But even though two, they are still bound to the calling which they have inherited from their forefather Jacob – that is, to be one chosen nation of kings and priests. However, in the course of their history YHVH divided the nation into two nation/kingdoms for His purposes and plans that are directly related to the covenant that He swore to Abraham. Thus, it is very important to understand the first-born concept and its centrality in YHVH’s plan of redemption, and its connection to the Two Houses of Israel. Grasping the firstborn principle is paramount to the understanding of the latter day events recorded in the Tanach.

Isaiah 8:14 presents the ‘Two House truth’: “He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to BOTH the houses of Israel”. As long as these two continue to stumble and take offense over the One who is their Rock they will remain two distinct entities.

Prayer for the State of Israel

TEFILAH LIMDINAT YISRA’EL / PRAYER FOR THE STATE OF ISRAEL
Translated from the Rabbinical Council of America Edition of the Artscroll Siddur

Our Father who is in the heavens, Rock of Israel and its Redeemer, bless the state of Israel, the first sprouting of our redemption. Protect her with the pinion of Your kindness and spread over her the sukkah of Your peace and send Your Light and Your Truth to her leaders, her officials and her counsellors and make them straight with good advice from Your presence and strengthen the hands of the guardians, the defenders of our holy land. Bequeath and confer upon them O Elohim of our salvation, help and a crown of victory. You will crown them and You will give peace in the land and eternal happiness to the ones who dwell in her and for all our brothers of the house of Israel, count and please attend to them in all the lands of their dispersion. Cause them to go quickly and upright to Zion Your city, and to Yerushalayim the dwelling place of Your Name. As it is written in the Torah of Moshe Your Servant, If [you are] driven away, wandering at the end of the Heavens, from there YHVH your Elohim will gather you and from there He will take you. YHVH your Elohim will bring you to the land which your fathers inherited and He will cause you to inherit it and He will do good to you and He will may you many more than your fathers and unite our hear for love. [He will] have us fear and regard His Name with awe and guard all the Words of Your Torah. Send to us quickly the Son of David, the Anointed One of Your Justice to redeem the ones who wait for Your Salvation. Shine forth in splendor the pride of Your Strength upon all the ones who dwell in Earth, Your Land, and will say each one who has breath, YHVH the Elohim of Israel is King and His Kingship is in every dominion. Amein and Selah!
