Who Will Populate the Land of Israel in the Future?

Hanoch Young

Our article’s author, Hanoch Young, is an Orthodox Jew who lives in Israel. He recognizes this torah awakening movement is a sign of the prophesied return of the lost tribes of Israel. He has been a faithful friend to BYNA since our inception and we greatly appreciate his perspective. He is a tour guide in Israel and if you plan a visit to the Holy Land you can contact him at Kol Yehuda concerning a tour. He also tours the world informing and inspiring Ephraimite congregations. Please contact him for possible times he would be available to speak in your area or to lead your group on a tour of The Land.

Who Will Populate the Land of Israel in the Future

Hanoch Young,

In his commentary on the Parsha (the weekly Torah portion), Rav (Rabbi) Nachman Kahana, recently came to some startling conclusions. His article (for Parshat Ki Taizai) was entitled, “Gathering the Ten Lost Tribes from faraway lands.” The entire article is fascinating and well worth your time, you can read it HERE. As fascinating as the entire article is, it is the 2nd half of the article that really impresses me; it is that part of the article that I want to focus on.

In the section, “Who will populate Eretz Yisrael in the future?” Rav. Kahana makes a number of statements, but his position on the Lost Tribes of Israel is nothing less than paradigm shaking… especially considering it is coming from the perspective of the Jewish community.

Prayer Psalms, Psalm 90

by Ephrimona of

Baruch Ata,
YHVH – Elohey Yisrael, Avinu
(Bless You, YHVH – Elohim of Israel, our Father).

O YHVH – Bor’ey’nu (our Creator), before the mountains were brought forth, or prior to forming the earth and the world, You are Elohey’nu (our God), even from everlasting to everlasting. You turn us to destruction and say, “Return, O children of men.” You carry us away like a flood, while we are asleep. In the morning we are like grass, which grows up and flourishes, but in the evening it is cut down and withers. For we have been consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath we are terrified. Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You Shof’teynu (our Judge), so is Your wrath.

You have set our iniquities before You; our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh. The days of our lives are seventy years and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow, for it is soon cut off and we fly away. So teach us to number our days, Abba, Morey’nu (our Teacher), that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil.

Return, O Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy)! How long? For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is passes by and like a watch in the night. Have compassion on Your servants. For You, Miphlatey’nu (our Refuge), have been our dwelling place in all generations. Therefore let Your work appear to us, Your servants, and Your glory to our children. Let Your beauty, YHVH K’vodey’nu (our Glory), be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands. O, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

Hallelu-Yah!!! For You, YHVH, are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avinu the Almighty reigns!

What’s for Dinner? – Biblically Kosher Meals

My Favorite Meatloaf

by Yocheved

1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
1⁄4 lb onions, chopped ¼ inch dice
1⁄8 lb green bell pepper, diced small
1 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup canned diced tomatoes (drained)
1⁄4 cup oatmeal or almond flour

1⁄4 cup Sugar Free BBQ sauce (like G. Hughes brand)
OR If you’d rather have heat than sweet, use Sriracha to taste

Set oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients except BBQ sauce or Sriracha together and place in the loaf pan. Bake for about 45 minutes. I take a knife and pierce it in the corner and in the middle for doneness. When the middle feels like the corner, it’s done.

If using BBQ sauce, let meatloaf rest about 10 minutes after done and then turn it out onto a baking sheet. Slather the BBQ sauce on the top and put back in the oven for about 10 minutes.

If using Sriracha, then just let everyone add to their liking.

Bon Appetit! / b’te’avon!

About 4 servings.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Prayer for the State of Israel

Translated from the Rabbinical Council of America Edition of the Artscroll Siddur

Our Father who is in the heavens, Rock of Israel and its Redeemer, bless the state of Israel, the first sprouting of our redemption. Protect her with the pinion of Your kindness and spread over her the sukkah of Your peace and send Your Light and Your Truth to her leaders, her officials and her counsellors and make them straight with good advice from Your presence and strengthen the hands of the guardians, the defenders of our holy land. Bequeath and confer upon them O Elohim of our salvation, help and a crown of victory. You will crown them and You will give peace in the land and eternal happiness to the ones who dwell in her and for all our brothers of the house of Israel, count and please attend to them in all the lands of their dispersion. Cause them to go quickly and upright to Zion Your city, and to Yerushalayim the dwelling place of Your Name. As it is written in the Torah of Moshe Your Servant, If [you are] driven away, wandering at the end of the Heavens, from there YHVH your Elohim will gather you and from there He will take you. YHVH your Elohim will bring you to the land which your fathers inherited and He will cause you to inherit it and He will do good to you and He will may you many more than your fathers and unite our hear for love. [He will] have us fear and regard His Name with awe and guard all the Words of Your Torah. Send to us quickly the Son of David, the Anointed One of Your Justice to redeem the ones who wait for Your Salvation. Shine forth in splendor the pride of Your Strength upon all the ones who dwell in Earth, Your Land, and will say each one who has breath, YHVH the Elohim of Israel is King and His Kingship is in every dominion. Amein and Selah!
