Today we want to pray for what’s on God’s heart. From the bible we know that Israel as Yeshua’s Bride is a primary focus of God’s plan of redemption and restoration. But it is broken right now, just like our relationship with God was broken by rebellion. We want to pray for the healing of what has broken God’s heart. So we are going to pray for the two great Houses of Israel and their continuing incompleteness before God and separation from each other.
Let’s Pray for the House of Judah
We come before your throne of MERCY, O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, humbling ourselves and asking for Your mercy for all our failures to grasp Your Divine Plan for Israel.
We pray for the revealing of Yeshua as Messiah to the Jewish people. We pray that the Jewish people are led to seek their promised redeemer and will want to take a look, some for the first time, even if just out of curiosity, at the apostolic scriptures we call the New Testament. There, in those words written by their own Jewish people, they will see the story of a miracle birth similar to the birth of Isaac in Genesis 21.
Open their eyes to see the One whom Job promised would walk the earth (Job 19:25) among His people, and who spoke words of Torah like they had never heard before (Matthew 7:28-29), healing many people (Matthew 4:23), and declaring before all who would hear, His identity as the Son of God (John 10:36-38), the One to bear the burden of our sins as the Righteous Servant of Isaiah 53. I pray that Jewish seekers would see what Isaiah 60 reveals, that their Savior and REDEEMER is the Mighty One of Jacob and that Yeshua is the One proclaimed by the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:32-33 to be the forever King over the House of Jacob and Who is this very Mighty One of Jacob.
Father, we pray You would break down strongholds of fear and denial among the Jewish people. Wake the Jewish people up, give them visions, let them hear testimonies by other Jews. Allow them to ask previously forbidden questions. Help them to risk relationships for the truth. Help them to challenge misconceptions and false teachings anchored in the traditions of men and religious strongholds. May they cry out for You in this time of trouble and see who You are in Yeshua, the Redeemer of Israel.
The God who was mighty for Jacob’s sake, who strengthened Joseph and David, who made of Israel a great nation and who has given us an eternal King in Yeshua to redeem and renew the world — may this same God be mighty for all Jewish people who will give Him their hearts and bow before the King of the universe.
Now Let’s Pray for the House of Israel (Ephraim) – (that would be us and our fellow believers in Yeshua.)
We also pray for the awakening to continue among the believers in Yeshua. Father, we long to see them awaken to their Identity in Israel. To awaken them to the Holy Instructions given to all believers. As Your word states in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, ALL SCRIPTURE is God-breathed (by His Spirit) and useful for teaching, rebuking, and training in righteousness to equip us for every good work. Let us return to Yah’s Torah, to that which our ancestors called a “Strange Thing” (Hosea 8:12), and walk in the Way that Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, walked (1 John 2:4-6).
We pray for believers in Yeshua to hear Your Voice, to hear the CALL to return to the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16), to return to our Kingdom Roots and the fullness of the gospel. Let us see Yeshua as the angel Gabriel proclaimed, the King over the Great Company of Jacob, who is Israel.
I pray that Christians awaken to see themselves as Ephraim Israel, the reconstitution of the Northern Kingdom, and as part of Remnant Israel, and begin to walk in the covenant as the Bride of Yeshua.
Father, we pray that You would break down strongholds of fear and denial among the Christian people. Wake them up, give them visions, let them hear testimonies from believers who keep Torah. Help them to challenge misconceptions and false teachings long anchored in the traditions of men and religious strongholds. Allow them to ask previously forbidden questions. Give them a hunger and a thirst for TRUTH and righteousness. Help them to risk relationships for newly discovered truth. Help them read your WORD with new eyes and show them that Your Holy instructions belong to all followers of Yeshua, not FOR SALVATION, but because we are saved by the covenants made with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-33).
May they cry out for You in this time of trouble and confusion and see who You are in Yeshua, the One who Redeems ALL Israel. May WE TAKE HOLD of our identity in Israel (Ephesians 2:11-13). Help us see that all the redeemed are Israel.
Father, we’ve been asking for boldness lately. I pray for the spirit of boldness for all who hear this prayer, according to Proverbs 28:1 which says to be bold as a LION. Let it be from confidence that comes from being in right relationship with YOU, not from arrogance, but a fearless assurance based on faith.
And finally, We do NOT KNOW WHEN this reunion between the Two Great Houses of Israel (Ezekiel 37:15-28) will take place nor HOW it will happen, but we trust in Your Word which speaks of its eventual reality. We know that Yeshua will bring it about, even calling it an EASY THING for Him to do (Isaiah 49:6). I pray that you may use us to begin and facilitate this process. Help us to become forerunners of this greatest reunion in the history of the planet.
