RON AND CANDI RUNYON

STRATEGIC PRAYER DIRECTORS

Married in 1975, in Ron’s childhood Church of the Nazarene, Ron, and Candi made their way to Sacramento, CA, when in 1989, the Lord wooed them through the doors of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Finding their home and settling in, they participated in various intercessory prayer and prophetic groups. Beginning in the late ’90s, the Lord began to open the scriptures to reveal who they were as Israel, and in 2004, opened their eyes to understand that the Torah was for them. Since attending the first B’ney Yosef Congress in Ariel, Israel, in 2015, they have been actively participating in B’ney Yosef North America.

They’ve had the pleasure of traveling to Scotland and Mexico to participate with the Lord in support of local assemblies. Running their own business for 13 years gave them the opportunity to interact with other business leaders and learn valuable life lessons. They have a passion for the restoration of the House of Ephraim and reconciliation with our brothers and sisters of Judah. In 2006, the Lord moved them to the Pacific Northwest where they participate in a local home-based fellowship.

Ron, the only son wedged between 4 sisters, is the social one with a penchant for technology and audio engineering. He currently applies his engineering mind to running his home appliance repair business. Homebody Candi worked for 12 years as office manager for an audiology office but now enjoys puttering around the house and garden, writing and supporting Ron in the business. They have a pact: if he will fix her technology, she will fix his meals.

MARCUS BOWMAN

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Marcus Bowman is a lifelong follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He and his wonderful wife Michelle were married in May 2005 and have been walking in the Torah since 2007. Together, they have five children (Asher, Havah, Seth, Malachi, & Rinnah).

Marcus earned an accounting degree from Indiana University and began his public accounting career in north-central Indiana, where he practiced as a CPA for four years before moving to Ellensburg, Washington State to found an accounting practice there. In late 2016, Marcus sold his practice to CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA), and for the next four years, he led CLA’s Central Washington 30-40 person outsourced accounting practice. In June 2021, Marcus & his family moved to Nashville, TN, where he is now helping to establish CLA’s new office and leading the outsourced accounting practice there.

In 2009, Marcus helped to establish Fellowship of the Vine, a Messianic congregation based in Ellensburg/Kittitas, Washington. He, Michelle, and their children were active in the congregation until their departure from Ellensburg in June 2021, and Marcus shared regular teaching and leadership responsibilities there. They now attend Mosaic Life Fellowship in Middle TN, and are active in leading worship there on a regular basis.

Marcus and Michelle visited Israel in 2006 (about a year after they were married) and took their children back to the land with them to serve with HaYovel in 2016. On those trips and over the years since they have enjoyed cultivating relationships with those who share their passion for the coming kingdom of the Messiah Yeshua. They long to see Jerusalem established as a praise in the earth and yearn for the restoration of all things as foretold by the prophets. They are excited to participate in the uniting of God’s family that will accompany that restoration and feel blessed to participate in BYNA’s contributions toward that work of the Father.
