Scripture: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” – Proverbs 18:21 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” – Matthew 12:37
Our words reveal our hearts. In the season of Teshuvah, we are called to examine not just what we do, but what we say.
Lashon hara—evil speech—is a serious sin in Judaism. Slander, gossip, and harsh words damage not only others, but our own souls. Yeshua taught that words are not idle; they carry spiritual weight.
Let your words be few, thoughtful, and filled with grace.
Reflection: – Are your words building others up or tearing them down? – How can your speech reflect God’s holiness?
Prayer: Lord, purify my lips and heart. Let my speech be seasoned with grace. Help me use my words to bring healing and truth. Amen.
