Scripture: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” – Psalm 103:12
“Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” – Matthew 6:12
Forgiveness is at the heart of Teshuvah. God forgives, and we are called to forgive others. Without both, repentance remains incomplete.
Many struggle to believe God has truly forgiven them. Yet Scripture assures us He removes our sins as far as east is from west. In Messiah, our guilt is nailed to the cross. To hold on to shame is to doubt His mercy.
But forgiveness does not stop with us. Yeshua taught us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Extending grace to others is often harder than receiving it, yet it is essential. Forgiveness releases us from bitterness and makes room for God’s love to flow.
Reflection: – Do you believe God has forgiven you completely? – Who in your life needs your forgiveness?
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your mercy. Help me to walk free of shame and extend forgiveness to others, just as You have forgiven me. Amen.
