Scripture: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

Brokenness is not the end—it’s the beginning of restoration. Many avoid repentance because they fear feeling broken. But in God’s economy, brokenness is beautiful.

King David, after his sin with Bathsheba, cried out in Psalm 51, “A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” David knew what many of us forget: God draws near to the humble.

Yeshua echoed this truth when He said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” Weakness invites divine strength. When we stop pretending, we make room for God’s power.

Teshuvah is not about appearing strong. It’s about embracing our need. It’s in our cracked places that God pours in grace.

Reflection: – What part of your life feels broken right now? – Are you willing to let God meet you there?

Prayer: God of mercy, I bring You my brokenness. I have nothing to hide and nothing to prove. Let Your strength be made perfect in me. Use even my weakness for Your glory. Amen.
