Scripture: “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault… If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.” – Matthew 18:15 “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Leviticus 19:18

Teshuvah is not just vertical—between us and God—but also horizontal—between us and others. If we harbor bitterness or remain unreconciled with others, our spiritual lives are hindered.

During Elul, it’s customary to seek forgiveness from people we may have wronged. This isn’t easy, but it is holy.

Yeshua emphasized reconciliation before sacrifice. Mending broken relationships honors God’s desire for unity and love among His people.

Reflection: – Whom do you need to forgive or ask forgiveness from? – What step can you take today toward reconciliation?

Prayer: God of reconciliation, give me courage to make peace with others. Help me reflect the forgiveness I’ve received from You. Restore what is broken in my relationships. Amen.
