Scripture: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10 “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
Teshuvah is not just about looking back. It’s about looking forward. It’s about writing a new story, with God’s help.
David’s prayer in Psalm 51 reflects a heart that not only seeks cleansing, but transformation. And Paul affirms that in Messiah, we are made new.
Whatever your past, these 40 days are an invitation to a fresh beginning. Not by your power, but by God’s Spirit.
Reflection: – What new story do you want God to write in your life? – What habits or mindsets need to be left behind?
Prayer: Renewing God, thank You for second chances. I give You my heart, my past, my future. Make me new through the power of Your Spirit and the love of Messiah. Amen.
