Scripture: “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins.” – Isaiah 59:20
“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” – Revelation 22:12
Teshuvah points us not only backward in regret but forward in hope. The promise of redemption fuels our repentance. We turn to God because we long for His Kingdom to come in fullness.
The prophets foresaw a day when Messiah would restore Israel and bring peace to the nations. Yeshua’s first coming inaugurated that redemption; His return will complete it. Every act of repentance prepares us for that day.
Our hope is not in our perfection, but in His promise. As we repent, we align ourselves with the Kingdom that is breaking in and yet to come.
Reflection: – Does your repentance carry a vision of God’s future? – How can hope strengthen your Teshuvah?
Prayer: Messiah, my Redeemer, I place my hope in You. Let my repentance prepare me for Your return. May I live today in the light of redemption. Amen.
