Scripture: “For on this day atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord.” – Leviticus 16:30
“But when Messiah appeared as high priest… He entered once for all into the holy places, securing eternal redemption.” – Hebrews 9:11–12
Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish year. It is a day of fasting, prayer, and repentance. The Torah promises cleansing and forgiveness. For Messianic believers, Yeshua is the ultimate High Priest, offering His blood once and for all.
On Yom Kippur, we acknowledge both our sin and God’s mercy. Teshuvah reaches its climax as we humble ourselves before the King of kings. The assurance of cleansing is central—God’s forgiveness is complete.
Reflection: – How does the atonement of Yeshua deepen your experience of Yom Kippur? – What sins do you need to bring into His cleansing today?
Prayer: High Priest Yeshua, thank You for eternal atonement. As I fast and pray, wash me clean by Your blood. Let me walk in the fullness of Your forgiveness. Amen.
