Scripture: “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” – Proverbs 28:13 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

Confession is a sacred act of honesty. It’s where Teshuvah begins to take tangible shape. Jewish tradition encourages vidui—verbal confession—as a way to release the burden of guilt and seek God’s forgiveness.

For Messianic believers, confession isn’t just a duty—it’s a gift. Through Yeshua, we come boldly to the throne of grace, where mercy meets us.

Speak the truth to God. Not as someone He doesn’t know, but as a beloved child returning home.

Reflection: – What sins do you need to bring into the light? – How does confession bring healing to your soul?

Prayer: Father, I confess my sins to You. Thank You that through Yeshua, I am forgiven and cleansed. Let confession be a pathway to intimacy, not shame. Amen.
