In Zechariah 12 we read that God will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the nations. That’s a word about judgment. When we remember that judgment begins with the household of God (1 Peter 4:17), maybe we should connect the dots and consider whether His judgment of His people starts with our attitude toward the land and people of Israel. Specifically, it may be that the question God is placing before the body of Messiah and the world  in general is what we think of the Jewish people.

Laura Densmore of Bridge Connector Ministries has a lot to say about this issue. She recently wrote an article called “Breaking the Silence – Stepping Away from Fallen Heroes Who Attack Jews” in which she points out an alarming thread of Jew hatred among conservative influencers, Christian leaders, and Hebrew Roots teachers. In this interview, Laura shares how that anti-Jewish sentiment has impacted her, and how it is a troubling echo of Christian attitudes that have led to horrendous actions against the Jewish people through the centuries.
