We have often been a listening ear and spiritual support to individuals that reach a low place in life, as we have been there ourselves.
Sin and shame weigh heavy.
The awareness of sin and shame is the beginning of a repentant heart emerging.
As a repentant heart emerges, our Creator, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, who establishes all instruction and boundaries, begins to lift the heavy weight from upon us.
A heart of repentance cries out in prayer as personal sins are revealed and acknowledged.
A repenting heart recognizes all suffering was justly due as we had been weighed down and trapped by our own failure to abide within the instructions and boundaries set by our Creator.
A repentant heart humbly asks for forgiveness and restoration, acknowledging the instructions that had been ignored and the boundaries that have not been honored.
A repentant heart now experiences YHWH’s refreshing mercy and forgiveness despite our unworthiness.
A repentant heart begins to allow the glory and power of praises to flow from within.
We rejoice as we watch YHWH’s gentle grace bring redemption, salvation, and the revelation of Messiah.
With the weight of guilt and shame removed, a repentant heart becomes a beautiful witness of a God who provides fresh dreams and whose love is overflowing in measure!
