Luke 21:8-28
As you read through this passage, it seems Yeshua is describing precisely what we are experiencing in these days. Here’s just the last few verses:
“People will lose heart from fear and anticipation of what is overtaking the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, STAND STRAIGHT AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, because your salvation is near!”
Difficult things will be happening all over the world, and we will be surrounded by fear and confusion. Sound familiar? Yeshua says, “…when these things BEGIN to happen…” – in other words, don’t wait around to figure it out or to listen to the many who will be offering their interpretations, prognostications, and speculations. No.
“…STAND STRAIGHT AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS…”
Put your faith to work. Do not fear. Love each other. Worship YHVH. Reach out to the oppressed, the widows and orphans. Let the bond of peace dwell in you.
LIFT UP your heads. Eyes open. Get ready.
Soon “…the Son of Man is coming in a cloud with power and great glory…”
