Shalom Friends of Israel! B’ney Yosef North America is participating in a unique event hosted by Genesis 123 Foundation and Bridge Connector Ministries to bring Jews and Christians together in prayer for God’s Covenant Nation of Israel.
The Global Prayer for Israel on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, is a seven-hour virtual event in which Jews and Christians from around the world gather online to pray for God’s protection over His land and people of Israel, with specific prayer times for –
- The release and restoration of every hostage
- Protection over and victory of the IDF
- That God would change the hearts of Israel’s enemies
May 15 is the day Israel’s enemies call the “Nakba,” or the catastrophe. They are referring to the miraculous rebirth of Israel in 1948 in accordance with His covenant promises to Abraham.
Israel’s enemies continue to contest those promises, as we see in the wars and threats made by Iran, Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and radicalized young people led astray on college campuses around the world. That is why it is especially important for Jews and Christians to join together NOW to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and stand in support of Israel.
The Global Prayer for Israel will take place over several hours and all the continents of the world. The same themes will be repeated in hours 4, 5, and 6.
