“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, til her vindication shines out lie the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch”
Over 5 million people worldwide joined together in a 21-day fasting and praying time for Israel last month from May 7 to May 28. A 21 day prayer guide was produced for people to follow along and pray in unity for the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people. This is still available HERE as a prayer guide that you can use to enhance your prayer time for all Israel.
The seeds of this event began 40 years ago in 1983 when a prophetic vision was given to Mike Bickle, eventual founder of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO. Bob Jones told Mike that there would be a House of Prayer on the property originally owned by President Harry Truman. Bickle moved his church to that property after it was given to him and it eventually became a 24/7 International Prayer ministry in 1999 with nearly 5,000 other smaller prayer ministries involved worldwide. Jones told Bickle that Harry Truman acted as a physical intercessor for the fledgling Nation of Israel in 1948 and that he(Bickle) would have a place to raise up many spiritual intercessors for Israel. He even said that someday there would be 100 million people interceding for Israel because of IHOP.
While we don’t agree with all the commentary of the guide, it is excellent and we loved the focus on Israel and the emphasis on the redemptive story of Israel as a nation and people. We also favored putting Romans Chapters 9, 10 and 11 at the forefront of understanding some important things about Israel and the Jewish people such as irrevocable covenants and the understanding of Romans 11:25-6 which we embrace as a key for revealing the importance of the gathering of Ephraim from the nations (the fullness of the gentiles) in the eventual salvation of both the Houses of Israel. The One New Man teaching is all about this reunion of these ancient biblical Houses into a New Humanity. Bickle uses such terms as “God’s Master Plan” for these verses and expresses the errors of the traditional beliefs of replacement theology. This is a very positive result of this 21 day fast and prayer for Israel. Bickle also calls this “God’s Grand Family Plan” and says it will shock the world. Amein! It certainly will. It will result in Life from the dead for the world(Romans 11:15).
But there is another step needed in order to put all the pieces of the prophecies concerning Israel together to truly see this Master Plan for Israel unfold before our eyes. It is not Jew and Gentile but rather Judah and Ephraim who join together under the Kingship of the Shepherd of Israel and become the people of Israel and the Bride of Messiah.
Ironically, many of the prayers in the 21 day prayer guide that were being prayed for Israel should also be prayed for our dear fellow believers in traditional church settings. For the great awakening of non-Jewish Israel is taking place worldwide now. Such as this one for Day 9.
We pray that You will awaken Israel to the reality that they belong to You and that You are their God forever. We pray they will know their identity and calling are to be Yours. We pray that they will return to You and leave their attempts to self-define themselves.
Another prayer could greatly impact the hearts of believers to awaken us, such as this one.
Thank you for grafting us into the olive tree of Israel through Jesus the Messiah, making us Your inheritance, too.
And concerning a prayer for covenant understanding on Day 10:
We pray that You will grant us a more profound revelation of Your covenants. Show us the power of Your covenantal promises with Israel and instruct us to honor them. Open the eyes of our hearts to see how faithful You are to Your covenants. Teach us how to walk in them.

blessing Your holy name. We praise You because You will make Your glory rise upon Jerusalem. You will cause her to be a light to the nations, and she will shine for all to see. We worship You because You have prepared a marvelous restoration for Jerusalem and for Israel. We pray that You open the understanding of the Church worldwide to Your plans for Jerusalem and your Master Family Plan in reuniting the Houses of Israel, Judah and Ephraim into the One New Man Family. Let Your purposes for her become significant and relevant to Your children. We pray that what is essential to You becomes more and more important for the Body of Messiah upon the earth.
Isaiah 62:6-7
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind Yahweh, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And sets Jerusalem as a praise in the earth.
