Christians (including Messianic and Hebrew Roots believers) and Jews  share common ground in Zion, or at least we should. That’s where Laura Densmore of Bridge Connector Ministries picks up this second part of our conversation about the growing presence of antisemitism, or Jew hatred, among Christians. Zionism is the movement for the return of the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the land of Israel. It shouldn’t be a controversial topic among Christians, especially since it’s a key component of God’s promises (Zechariah 8:17, John 12:15, Romans 11:26, Revelation 14:1), and yet Zionism has become a curse among many believers. Why is that, and what do we do about it?

The division in the body of Messiah about Zion and the Jewish people comes at the time when we should be united. David Jones and Barry Phillips have some thoughts about that in their midrash, “Does Preference Promote Unity?” It’s a matter of where we place our identity, as we hear in the music of Wilderness Cry and Solomon O. Lopez
